HIPS International — Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

1. Overview

HIPS International (“HIPS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects payments directly for bookings made through https://hipsinternational.com/.

Experiences may be delivered by HIPS or by independent third-party providers.

This policy explains how customer cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, weather disruptions, provider cancellations, and no-shows are handled.

Any experience-specific terms will be shown before purchase. This policy does not remove consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

2. Customer Cancellations — 72-Hour Notice

Customers who wish to cancel a booking must contact HIPS at least 72 hours before the scheduled start of the experience.

The cancellation request should include the customer's name, booking reference, experience, and scheduled date.

The request is considered received when HIPS receives it through an accepted contact method.

Refund eligibility for customer cancellations within the 72-hour window: [HIPS MUST CONFIRM WHETHER A FULL REFUND, PARTIAL REFUND, CREDIT, OR OTHER OUTCOME APPLIES.]

Refund eligibility for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the experience: [HIPS MUST CONFIRM THE RULE, SUBJECT TO MANDATORY LEGAL RIGHTS.]

The 72-hour notice period is the proposed standard. Any different rule for a particular experience must be disclosed before payment and reviewed for compliance with applicable law.

The 72-hour rule does not override a legal right to cancel or receive a refund.

3. Deposits

Deposit policy: TO BE CONFIRMED.

HIPS has not yet established whether deposits will be required, whether they will be refundable, or how they will be applied to the total booking price.

Until this policy is confirmed, no deposit should be described as automatically non-refundable.

If deposits are introduced, the amount, payment deadline, application to the total price, and cancellation or refund conditions must be clearly disclosed before purchase and comply with applicable law.

4. Cancellations by HIPS

If HIPS cancels an experience it is responsible for delivering, HIPS will notify affected customers as soon as reasonably practicable.

HIPS will generally seek to offer rescheduling to another available date first, subject to the customer's agreement.

If rescheduling is unavailable or unsuitable, HIPS will explain the available refund or other remedies under the booking terms and applicable law.

Where a service is not provided for reasons not attributable to the customer, the customer's entitlement to a refund or other remedy will be assessed in accordance with applicable law.

5. Cancellations by Third-Party Providers

Some experiences purchased through HIPS are delivered by independent operators, excursion companies, venues, transportation providers, or event organizers.

If a third-party provider cancels or cannot deliver an experience, HIPS will coordinate with the provider and contact the customer.

HIPS will generally seek to arrange an alternative date first, subject to availability and the customer's agreement.

If rescheduling is unavailable or unsuitable, HIPS will explain the other available options, including a refund where required by the booking terms or applicable law.

Customers who paid HIPS directly should submit refund requests to HIPS. They will not be required to seek a refund from an independent provider for a payment collected by HIPS.

6. Weather, Safety, and Unforeseen Circumstances

Severe weather, sea conditions, emergencies, transportation disruptions, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances may prevent an experience from proceeding safely or as scheduled.

Where an experience is cancelled or materially affected, HIPS will communicate the change as soon as reasonably practicable.

HIPS will generally seek rescheduling first, subject to availability and the customer's agreement.

If rescheduling is unavailable or unsuitable, the available remedy will be determined under the applicable booking conditions and law.

A weather-related cancellation does not automatically make a booking non-refundable. Any refund or alternative arrangement will depend on the circumstances, the agreed terms, and applicable legal requirements.

7. Event Tickets

Event purchases may have specific terms concerning ticket validity, event dates, transfers, postponements, and cancellations.

Those terms must be made available before purchase.

If an event is cancelled, postponed, relocated, or materially changed, HIPS will communicate the available options under the event-specific terms and applicable law.

Event-specific refund and ticket-transfer rules: [HIPS MUST CONFIRM WHETHER TICKETS MAY BE REFUNDED, TRANSFERRED, OR USED FOR A RESCHEDULED EVENT.]

No ticket restriction in this policy overrides a refund or other right required by law.

8. Late Arrivals and No-Shows

Customers are responsible for arriving at the designated location at the time stated in the booking confirmation.

A customer who fails to attend, or arrives too late to participate, may lose the opportunity to take part where the experience cannot reasonably accommodate the delay.

Proposed no-show rule: Customer no-shows are generally not eligible for a refund where this restriction was clearly disclosed before purchase, the service was available as agreed, and the restriction is lawful.

This rule does not apply where HIPS or the provider failed to deliver the service as agreed or where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

Any additional charges or consequences for late arrival must be disclosed before purchase.

9. Rescheduling and Booking Changes

Customers who wish to change a booking should contact HIPS as early as possible.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and the operational requirements of the relevant experience.

Customer-requested rescheduling deadline: [HIPS MUST CONFIRM WHETHER THE 72-HOUR NOTICE PERIOD ALSO APPLIES TO RESCHEDULING.]

Rescheduling fees: [HIPS MUST CONFIRM WHETHER ANY FEES APPLY.]

Any additional charges or conditions must be communicated before a change is confirmed.

Where HIPS or a provider proposes a material change, the customer will be informed of the available options. A change requiring the customer's agreement will not be treated as accepted merely because the original payment has been made.

10. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds for purchases made directly through HIPS will generally be initiated through the original payment method where reasonably possible and permitted by the payment provider.

HIPS's target is to initiate approved refunds within 10 business days after the refund has been approved.

This is the target for initiating the refund, not a guarantee that the funds will appear in the customer's account within the same period. Banks, card issuers, and payment processors may require additional time.

If a refund cannot reasonably be returned through the original payment method, HIPS will communicate the available lawful alternatives.

No undisclosed refund administration fee will be charged.

11. Duplicate Payments and Payment Errors

If you believe you were charged more than once for a booking, or a payment was processed incorrectly, contact HIPS with your booking reference and relevant transaction details.

We will review the issue and, where an error is confirmed, arrange an appropriate correction or refund in accordance with applicable law and payment-provider procedures.

Do not send full payment card details, security codes, or passwords by email.

If a law applicable to a transaction provides a refund, cancellation right, or other remedy that differs from this policy, the legal requirement will prevail to the extent of the conflict.

14. Policy Updates

HIPS may update this policy to reflect changes to its booking procedures, services, providers, or legal obligations.

The current policy will be published on the website with an updated date.

For existing bookings, the applicable conditions will be determined by the terms disclosed and agreed at purchase, subject to mandatory legal rights.
